Patrick’s Story
For more than 25 years, Patrick believed many outdoor experiences were no longer possible after his spinal cord injury. Simple moments like walking on the beach, exploring forest trails, hiking in the mountains, or picking mushrooms with family became difficult — and eventually impossible with a standard wheelchair.
Like many people living with mobility impairments, Patrick slowly stopped trying. Not because he didn’t want to be part of those moments, but because uneven terrain, sand, snow, and rough paths created barriers that limited his freedom and independence.
Everything changed when he discovered Zoom 2.0. Suddenly, nature became accessible again. Beach walks, mountain adventures, mushroom picking, and family outings were no longer out of reach.
Patrick describes the ZOOM as more than a mobility device — it gave him back experiences he thought he had lost forever. It allowed him to enjoy the outdoors without stress or struggle and create unforgettable memories with his family again.
For Patrick, Zoom 2.0 represents freedom, independence, and the ability to keep doing what he loves — without limits.
